Some theory…
Language is an important acquisition of early childhood. Language as a new tool opens new possibilities for social understanding, learning about the world and communicating experiences, pleasures and needs. During the first three years of school, children meet another important milestone in the development of language by learning to read. These two domains are distinct, yet interconnected. A relationship has been established between early language skills and the ultimate mastery of reading.
